The Absolut Art Award was launched in 2009 to celebrate the 30 years of the brand’s collaboration with artists (see “Absolut Vodka Launches Andy Warhol Bottle”). The winning artist will receive a cash prize of €20,000 and a budget of €100,000 to produce and exhibit a new artwork. The winning writer will also receive a cash prize of €20,000, plus a budget of €25,000 to research and produce a new art publication.

The winners will be announced during the opening of the 56th Venice Biennale in May 2015. An award ceremony will take place in September 2015 in Stockholm.
