What: SculptureCenter’s Annual Benefit Gala

When: November 4, 2014

Where: The Edison Ballroom

Who: The hip affair was attended by art world insiders like Scott Rothkopf, Marianne Boesky, Paula Cooper, Andrea Rosen, Massimiliano Gioni, and Carol Bove.

Why: After a year of renovations and an expansion on the Long Island City institution’s building, the space is finally fully open and better than ever. What better reason to celebrate?

The Moment: Radames “Juni” Figueroa’s Never-Ending Tropical Fountain (Gala Edition), a wacky installation comprised of fruit and alcohol, got the crowd thirsty for a drink (or two). Luckily, shot glasses were on hand.
