Move over Miami—Art Basel in Hong Kong has released its list of galleries for 2016, and there are 239 of them, hailing from 35 countries and territories around the globe, over half of them with spaces in Asia and the Pacific.

For the fair’s fourth edition, which will run from March 24–26, 2016, 28 galleries will exhibit for the first time, with nine new Asian dealers including Singapore’s Yeo Workshop, Taipei’s Gallery 100, Shanghai’s Longmen Art Projects, and Beijing’s Ink Studio.

Other first time participants include Cardi Gallery of Milan and London, David Kordansky Gallery of Los Angeles, Galerie Jocelyn Wolff of Paris, and Greene Naftali of New York.

Highlights will include the Insights sector, which focuses on the art of the region, with artists from Australia, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Japan, Mainland China, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Turkey represented by 28 exhibitors. Roughly half of the sector will be dedicated to modern work.

Emerging artists will take the spotlight in Discoveries, with 24 exhibitors, five of which are appearing for the first time. For Encounters, large-scale sculptural installations and performance works curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor will be scattered throughout the exhibition halls. The Film sector, curated by Li Zhenhua, will include future films for the first time.

Art Basel in Hong Kong will also present For Whom the Bell Tolls: A Journey Into the Sonic History of Conflict, a project from sound artist Samson Young, the inaugural winner of BMW’s new Art Journey award.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves: Before the art world heads to Hong Kong however, there’s still Art Basel in Miami Beach, which has an even bigger slate of 267 galleries and a full week of glamorous parties on tap December.
