The Daily Mail reports that Jeff Koons and his muse Lady Gaga (or was it the other way around?) went on a little vacation last Friday. Not too shocking to hear, except they didn’t head to the Hamptons, Aspen, or some Mediterranean island, but rather to Montana. While the tabloid was largely concerned with a certain nipple-bearing selfie Gaga posted to her Instagram account while en route, we’re far more curious as to what the art stars were doing so far afield.

It seems the destination was Big Sky, where Koons was giving a talk at the Yellowstone Club, a luxury residential community. Gaga also brought along her pup, Asia, who posed for a picture with the pair.

Unfortunately, this mysterious “group chat” that Koons participated in doesn’t appear to have been documented anywhere other than Gaga’s Instagram feed, so we’ll just have to take her word for it. And while Montana isn’t exactly known for its bustling contemporary art scene, The Yellowstone Club is an exclusive resort and residential domain that charges an estimated $250,000 just to join (plus the cost of a $5–35 million mountainside home, as well as annual dues), so we imagine the duo felt right at home.
