Not satisfied with reaction GIFs impersonally sourced from reality TV shows and cult films? Now you can turn scenes from your everyday life into your very own arsenal of animated GIFs, reports Peta Pixel.

Otto, a new camera developed by Next Thing Co., features an easy-to-use, hand-powered crank that you simply turn to create your very own animated image. Want to show off your handiwork with friends? Images are immediately sent to your mobile device for instant shareability.

Bascially, Otto is a digital camera with a built-in Instagram app, linked directly to your smart phone. It also has a bunch of flashy add-ons that let you remotely trigger the shutter or track sound levels, and promises to be completely hackable for those who know how to mess around with camera software.

The high-tech camera, which seems likely to raise its target goal of $60,000 in its ongoing Kickstarter campaign, costs a reasonable $200.
