Art Berlin Contemporary (abc) has announced the exhibitors for its seventh edition this fall. The fair’s 2014 outing welcomes over 110 galleries from 20 countries to Station Berlin from September 18–21.

As in the past two editions of abc, all galleries will present one or more solo presentations of artists and collectives such as: Awst & Walther, Mike Bouchet, Walter Dahn, Heinrich Dunst, Martin Eder, Camille Henrot, Donna Huanca, Christian Jankowski, Jonathan Meese, Nina Pohl, Charlotte Posenenske, Tobias Rehberger, and Haegue Yang. Most of the works will be new, with a focus on large scale and time-based art typically not seen at other art fairs.

abc remains a mostly regional affair this year, with 67 German galleries (54 of them from Berlin itself) dominating the exhibitor list. Forty-eight international galleries will also participate this year, for a total that marks a slight contraction over the approximately 130 galleries that participated in the 2012 and 2013 editions of the fair.

Twenty-five of the exhibitors—among them Aanant & Zoo, Rod Barton, Brand New Gallery, Kisterem, Galerie Max Mayer, Galerie Tobias Neahring, Neumeister Bar-Am, and Steve Turner Contemporary—are participating for the first time. Outside of Germany, Austria has the second-highest number of galleries exhibiting with nine, followed by the UK with five, the US and Polen with four each, and Brazil with three.
