Despite the epic downpour on Wednesday night, a crowd that included Lake Bell, Kelly Rutherford, Bettina Prentice and Evan Yurman assembled to celebrate Free Arts NYC, a non-profit that provides arts education to low-income children and families. The Annual Art Auction was held in honor of tattoo-artist-to-the-stars and visual artist Scott Campbell, and was hosted by legendary fashion designer Marc Jacobs, who arrived looking every bit the icon in a purple rhinestone encrusted coat. The warehouse-like atmosphere of The Garage was brought to life with pieces by Kehinde Wiley, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Phillips and of course, Campbell himself, who produced a limited-edition print for the auction. Guests sipped tequila sunrises, applied custom-designed temporary tattoos, and enjoyed a live auction of eight works conducted by Paddle8’s Alexander Gilkes.
