Socialites and art folk united at Guastavino’s to celebrate 25 years of arts education at the 92nd St. Y. Larry Gagosian was honored at the event and spoke about his love of art and his longevity as a dealer in the art world– guests remarked on the humanity and humility of the speech and were in general impressed with the demeanor of the mega dealer, who has a reputation for being aloof and unapproachable.  Nonetheless is was by all reports a successful event with fundraising targets clearly in sight.
