A Tribeca condo belonging to art dealer Judith Hess has come on the market for $4.5 million. Currently displaying artworks by Richard Prince and Jeff Koons, according to the New York Post, the property is at 5 Franklin Place, which is near a “mini boom” of new construction in the area. It’s located steps away from a number of prominent Tribeca galleries, including Postmasters and Alexander & Bonin Gallery.

Hess was private client director and contemporary art specialist for Phillips auction house, later becoming international business development director in the chairman’s office at Christie’s, according to her website. She’s been in business for just under a year as Jude Hess Fine Arts.

Hess was in the news in 2015 as the target of a legal complaint by über-attorney Aaron Richard Golub, who claimed she stiffed him on fees relating to her $1 million commission on a 1908 Claude Monet canvas titled Nympheas. He sued for $275,000, most of which was for damages for her “bald-faced lies, misrepresentations, malice and abuse,” according to the Post, before withdrawing the complaint.

Rumors swirled after Hess accompanied Prince Andrew, Duke of York, at a horse race at Royal Ascot in 2011, but Hess told the Daily Mail that the two are simply longtime friends.

The three-bedroom, two-bath condo, measuring nearly 2,000 square feet, boasts Waterworks features and Bosch ovens, along with Carrara counters, according to the listing. If you can’t put together the $4.5 million, says the Post, you can also rent it for just $14,000 a month.
