Do you believe in fresh starts? A new year, a new shot at a better tomorrow? I’m not sure I do, but when in doubt I like to visit galleries and museums to get a new perspective and think things through, and I bet you do the same. After finally ridding ourselves of 2016, let’s turn our eyes to Brussels: The city is set to host the return of the BRAFA Art Fair at the end of the month, and there’s plenty of gallery exhibitions between now and then that you should go out of your way to check out. From the looks of it, Brussels visitors and residents have a lot to choose from: From group winter artist-curated shows to mega solo endeavors by the likes of Richard Prince, you’ve got a lot art-seeing to do. Bundle up and head out there, and let’s at least try and get 2017 off on the right foot.
