INSIDE MADONNA’S MASSIVE ART COLLECTION
We did some sleuthing into what pop icon Madonna has in her art collection, which she’s been amassing since 1987. She’s extremely protective of her Frida Kahlo paintings (see Madonna Refused to Loan a Frida Kahlo Painting to Detroit Institute of Arts for Blockbuster Show), and any Basquiats she owned were destroyed by the artist himself, who also happens to be her ex-lover (see Madonna Says Jean-Michel Basquiat Took Back and Destroyed Paintings He Gave Her).
