What: The Guggenheim International Gala Pre-party made possible by Dior.
When: November 5, 2014
Where: The Guggenheim
Who: Hosted by the Young Collectors Council, boldface names included rapper ASAP Rocky, actress Marion Cotillard, fashion designer Raf Simons, supermodel Karlie Kloss, and actress Greta Gerwig. Harry Brant, the baby of the Brant empire, was spotted canoodling with a coterie of models including Joan Smalls and Constance Jablonski. The traditional art gala crowd was conspicuously absent.
Why: Because it feels delightfully bad to hang out in a museum after hours, especially when the place is packed with gorgeous, Dior-clad people.
The Moment: A special concert by British indie pop band The xx, which rendered the event sold out weeks in advance. We even spotted people trying to scalp tickets outside (to the gentleman who asked “can I get in with you?”—sorry, we barely made the cut ourselves!)
