Even J.K. Rowling isn’t content to experience the magic of her Harry Potter series only at Universal Studios in Orlando. As reported by Complex, the best-selling author has unveiled plans to build a life-size version of Hagrid’s hut near her home in the Scottish countryside.

Purchased in 2001 for £1.9 million, Rowling’s 19th Killiechassie Estate is near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. The property is a massive 162 acres, and is said to be home to a murderous water sprite that dwells in a lake located on the grounds. Since purchasing the estate, Rowling has already constructed what the Telegraph described as a “magical tree house kingdom” including a pair of round, two-story houses on stilts.

Rowling’s latest plans call for a “circular structure, open to the front, with a stone bench and slate roof,” which sounds pretty much exactly like the home of the Hogwarts keeper of the keys turned carer of magical creatures, portrayed in the films by English actor Robbie Coltrane. The structure will also be built on the edge of a forest, just like Hagrid’s Hut abuts the Forbidden Forest in the books.

No word on whether or not Rowling furnishes her expansive home with Potter-related decor. If so, she’s got some hefty competition in the form of Mexico City’s Menahem Asher Silva Vargas, who was recently recognized for his record-breaking 3,097 piece collection of Harry Potter merchandise and memorabilia (see “Guinness Honors World’s Largest Harry Potter Collection“).
