There’s a fog descending on San Francisco—and it’s not the usual one sitting below the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s the annual FOG Design+Art fair, which opens in the bay area city this week, alongside UNTITLED, San Francisco, With roughly 110 galleries participating in one or the other, there’s plenty to see on the city’s northern coast, where both fairs will take place.

However, there’s a lot to see elsewhere, too, as galleries all around the area mount some of their best shows of the year. Should you find yourself in the Fog City with an appetite for art, here are a few must-see exhibitions.
