1. Her Body Political at NeueHouse
Moderated by Creative Time’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Donnamarie Baptiste, artist Wangechi Mutu, social justice activist Wanja Muguongo, artist Toyin Ojih Odutola, and artist LaToya Ruby Frazier (a 2015 MacArthur art fellow) will discuss the relationship between art-making and activism, a timely topic of conversation.

4. Conversation: Tania Bruguera and Dread Scott “Political Art is Uncomfortable Knowledge” at the Brooklyn Museum
Artists Tania Bruguera and Dread Scott are the opening program for the Museum’s Agitprop! exhibition, and the duo will discuss how their practices are intertwined with the political. The conversation will touch on historical examples of agitprop art, and how they have influenced and inspired the artists.

5. Superconversations: Machines that Matter at e-flux
The New Art panel on Friday evening kicks off the Superconversations event (the Science Fiction and Computation panels are scheduled for Saturday), an extension of the concepts and ideas formulated through e-flux’s Supercommunity/Superconversations project for the 56th Venice Biennale and also forms the final installment of The New Centre’s Symposia 2015. A screening of Anton Vidokle and Oleksiy Radynski’s A Museum of Immortality will follow the discussion.

6. “Intimacy in Discourse” Panel Discussion at SVA Chelsea Gallery
As an accompaniment to Unreasonable Sized Paintings at the SVA Chelsea Gallery and Reasonable Sized Paintings at Mana Contemporary, curator Phoung Bui speaks with a panel of artists, including Lisa Yuskavage and Yale’s Dean of the School of Art Robert Storr, who discuss their work in the concurrent exhibitions.

7. 8-Ball Zine Fair at Space Billiards
