Hugo Boss Prize winning French artist Pierre Huyghe has joined Swiss powerhouse, Hauser and Wirth. The gallery confirmed on Thursday that their collaboration with Huyghe would commence with an exhibition in London this September.

Huyghe is also represented by Esther Schipper in Berlin and Marian Goodman in New York. Schipper representatives met with colleagues from Hauser and Wirth at Art Cologne to iron out details.

The confirmation comes as the second leg of Pierre Huyghe’s major museum survey show opened at Cologne’s Museum Ludwig on Thursday evening. The exhibition was previously shown in Paris at the Centre Pompidou to great critical acclaim. It will travel to LACMA this fall for its final iteration.

Huyghe won the Hugo Boss Prize in 2002. Interest in his work gained new fervor following Documenta 13. There, he created a sprawling installation in the Karlsaue Park. Elements of that installation, including its hallmark pink-pawed miniature greyhound and a video work shot within the work are on view currently in Cologne.
