This 17th-century portrait of a noblewoman is filled with rich jewel tones. She wears a dress of burnt orange and blues and is surrounded by flowers. The lovely portrait bears a seal from Galerie Sedelmeyer in Paris, an Old Masters gallery operated by Charles Sedelmeyer between 1884 and 1916. He became a trusted art advisor to collectors including Maurice Kahn and J. Pierpont Morgan. This painting is being sold from a Park Avenue estate where it hung for three generations.

Coming to auction from a Fifth Avenue estate, this painting attributed to Honoré Daumier shows a gentleman in a top hat looking out at an unknown scene. The lavish gilt frame comes from the famed framing company House of Heydenryk, which has been in business for more than 170 years.

Made in 1978, this carved teak wood sculpture of a reclining figure was made by the Indonesian artist Ida Bagus Tilem and is signed on the underside. A similar work by the artist was sold at Christie’s in 2015.

Australian-American artist Richard Hayley Lever (1876–1958), worked as an etcher, lecturer and art teacher. His works were well known for his paintings depicting competitions at the 1928 Summer Olympics and the 1932 Summer Olympics. This vibrant canvas filled with lush swirls of blues and turquoise shows boats at dawn near St. Ives off the coast of Cornwall, England.

Made by French artist Aristide Maillol, this bust of the famed Impressionist Auguste Renoir show the artist donning a hat and is filled with dynamism. Similar busts are held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum. Maillol’s monogram—an “M” within a circle—is incised on the base.
