Last night, an array of art collectors, patrons, curators, and artists gathered for the Gala Preview of the Art Dealers Association of America Art Show. Attendees enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while exploring 72 exhibitions by the nation’s leading galleries. Highlights from this year’s show include new works by Charles LeDray, historical works by Martha Wilson, and an interactive presentation by artist Ann Hamilton, in which participants are photographed for gauzy, surreal portraits that they can then take home.
The atmosphere was refined and elegant, which is to be expected from a fête for the nation’s longest running art fair. Notable guests included Jeffrey Deitch, Martin Margulies, Amy Phelan, and more.
