The list of galleries participating in Asia Week New York 2016 is out, and no fewer than 46 international galleries have signed up for the annual ten-day celebration of Asian art and culture.
Bridging the relative calm between New York Armory Week and Art Basel in Hong Hong, the coming edition of Asia Week New York will be held March 10–19, 2016.
In addition to a full slate of auctions at Sotheby’s, Christie’s, Bonhams, Doyle New York, and iGavel, Asia Week is bringing with it, as always, an impressive schedule of exhibitions and events.
There are nine first-time participants, including London’s Berwald Oriental Art, which specializes in Chinese ceramics and sculpture; San Francisco’s Gallery Japonesque, dealing in contemporary Japanese ceramics and art; and Paris’s Renaud Montméat Art d’Asie, showing Indian and Himalayan Art.
