The Contemporary Art Fair NYC is moving from October to May for its fifth year, joining the third editions of Frieze New York (May 9–12) and NADA New York (May 9–11) and the inaugural Downtown Armory Fair (May 8–11), among other art events slated for the first full week in May.

Formerly hosted in the Jacob Javits Center, the fair also boasts a new location for 2014: The Tunnel in Chelsea. The juried exhibition will feature fine art from photographers, painters, and sculptors, as well as furniture, jewelry, and glassware. Prices, which are expected to range from $100 to $6,000, are decidedly more modest than that of many of the fair’s competitors.

The 21-year-old Outsider Art Fair (May 8–11) is also moving to May for the first time this year, as reported by AFAnews.
