The Frieze London art fairs have announced the list of more than 290 participating galleries for the 14th edition of Frieze London, and the 5th edition of Frieze Masters. The fair, which will take place in London from October 6-9, will also feature some interesting new highlights including solo shows by big-name artists like James Turrell as well as a new gallery section called “The 90s,” which will revisit some of the most influential exhibitions of the decade.

Thanks to its partnership with the Contemporary Art Society, Frieze London will help a regional museum collect a major contemporary art work. This year Middlesbrough Institute of Contemporary Art will be the beneficiary of the new scheme.

Satellite events will take place in conjunction to the fair’s main events, including talks by artists, curators, writers, and thinkers, along with the much-beloved Frieze Sculpture Park, which will offer a free cultural attraction with its large-scale art installations in Regent’s Park, at the heart of London.

Frieze’s collaboration with a host of international curators looks to bring a fair full of diversity, with work ranging from antiquities to contemporary art throughout its many sectors and events.
