What would today’s art world be like without so much speculation? Probably a better place on the whole, but what better time to ponder the highs and lows of whims and trends than Art Basel Miami Beach! Indeed, one project on-site at the Convention Center will be offering up speculations of the celestial kind.

Located inside the bowels of this year’s NOVA section is “Sωαмρ οƒ Sαgιτταяιμs,” an artist-bar (now an established sub-genre of installation-cum-pop-up) organized by curator Agatha Wara and artist Naomi Fisher, who also leads BFI, one of the city’s most established artist-run spaces.

Within visitors will encounter astrological advisers Morgan Rehbock and Marty Windahl, who will be doing natal chart and Tarot card readings all day Wednesday and Thursday, and from 1 to 4 pm, Friday through Sunday. For a by-donation appointment, email swamp.sagittarius[at]gmail.com ASAP.

Below, Rehbock prepared a special ABMB edition horoscope specially for artnet News. Take note, buy high, sell low, skype, fuck, and party with occult intelligence.

Aries (21 March – 20 April)
You are busting onto the scene as a free agent, and no matter what role you play in the art world, building new professional relationships will be your goal at Art Basel Miami Beach this year. Aries are experts of self promotion, and the enthusiastic aspect between Mercury in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries on Tuesday will help you hone your communication strategy. You have to be out socializing on Wednesday and Thursday, but make sure you don’t burn out early because deals won’t be made until later in the week after Venus enters Scorpio on Saturday.

Taurus (21 April – 21 May)
Work commitments have been seriously restricting your romantic opportunities, but at least you’re landing in Miami feeling completely prepared for the professional chaos that will undoubtedly ensue. Fortunately you won’t have to feel bummed out about the lull in your love life for much longer—Venus enters Scorpio on Saturday night just in time for you to share a romantic moment with someone cute. A new love connection you make this week is likely to last for longer than you expect, so don’t be cynical if it seems like a one-night stand the morning after.

Gemini (22 May – 21 June)
Why so serious Gemini? A new sense of professional focus transformed your life this fall when Saturn entered Sagittarius. But before you get down to business in Miami you need to chill out and hit refresh at the pool to give your brain a rest. The aspects on Tuesday will be ideal for communicating with colleagues abroad, so schedule any conference calls or Google hangouts accordingly. Your schedule on Thursday needs to be perfectly co-ordinated so you don’t miss any of the action—a chance encounter with someone important could lead to your next gig.

Cancer (22 June – 22 July)
While you are well respected in your chosen field, colleagues probably wouldn’t consider you to be an innovator. Challenge yourself to blaze a trail towards unusual options this week and expand your professional perspective. If you are a curator or writer, try attending the weirdest function you’re invited to on Wednesday or Thursday—the one in an incredibly inconvenient location—and you will see something fresh. Artists should be open to mingling with new crowds, rather than clinging to the usual crew.

Leo (23 July – 22 August)
Art fairs aren’t known for being inspirational, but this year you’ll be receiving an infusion of creative energy, straight from the stars above, that helps you get through the Art Basel experience. You are the center of attention as the week begins under a Leo moon. Be aware that this might cause you to feel a bit emotional, especially after a few drinks. Leo artists showing work on Wednesday or Thursday will benefit most from the positive aspects this week, while those with significant events on Friday or Saturday should be cautiously optimistic. A romantic moment or a hook-up is possible any night this week, but you shouldn’t take it too seriously.

Virgo (23 August – 23 September)
Notorious for your work ethic, you’ve never been that interested in all the Miami parties. You’re here for the art! But this year Jupiter, the planet of positive vibes is in Virgo and you are in the mood to rage. The moon enters Virgo on Tuesday night and joins party planet Jupiter early on Wednesday morning, making this night the ideal night to go hard. By Friday night you could be feeling the fatigue, but you need to make a conscious effort to keep your composure because there will be the possibility of souring a business relationship if you let something slip.

Libra (24 September – 23 October)
Your ruling planet Venus, currently in Libra, gives you an all-access pass to ABMB festivities. This placement is ultra-positive for any Libra who works as an art adviser because it will allow you to directly tap the pulse of all the hottest trends this year. Libra artists and curators will also benefit from this placement because any show you are involved with this week will receive positive press from all the right publications. You may want to end your trip early this year—Venus leaves Libra on Saturday afternoon and you’d be welcome to stay but it just wouldn’t be quite as fun.

Scorpio (24 October – 22 November)
There’s a matter on your mind early in the week that makes it impossible for you to be 100 percent present for the first couple of days of Miami Art Basel this year. Don’t worry about sending the wrong message or leaving a bad impression—everyone will be exhausted and your introspection will simply come across as a minor case of art fatigue. By the end of the week you’ll be thoughtfully prepared to party. Sensual Venus enters Scorpio early on Saturday morning, ensuring the weekend of debauchery you were dreaming of.

Sagittarius (23 November – 21 December)
This year your trip to Miami is definitely about business and not about pleasure, so you will be extremely pleased to learn that the potential for professional advancement is clearly written in the planetary placements this week. If you are in town for an event on Tuesday or Wednesday, be prepared for a surprise and get to the venue early to make sure everything is in order. You’ll be so busy that getting perspective will be difficult until you head back home, but extremely positive news that relates to your time in Miami awaits you on Tuesday, December 8.

Capricorn (22 December – 20 January)
You’re not here to make friends. You’re here to make money, and that’s exactly what you’re going to do. Financially beneficial Venus and energetic Mars in your 10th house of career are acting as your planetary public relations team this week, ensuring you get the recognition you deserve. The creative capital you possess is extremely valuable, and if you are negotiating a deal on Thursday or Friday don’t be afraid to play hard to get. It’s clear that they need you more than you need them.

Aquarius (21 January – 19 February)
You are on the top of everyone’s guest list this year, and it will be extremely tempting for you to make trip to Miami all about the social scene. It’s totally OK to ride the wave of popularity that is currently engulfing you, but make sure you utilize the momentum to propel your career forward as well as your social status. What’s the use of all those followers on Instagram if you don’t turn them into customers? Venus enters your 10th house of career early on Saturday morning, and if you need to ask for a professional favor from someone important, do it over the weekend.

Pisces (20 February – 20 March)
Collaboration is on your mind right now, and a casual conversation you have on Wednesday could lead to a serious partnership in the future. You are on the hunt for your creative soulmate, someone who shares your unusual view of the universe. While the purpose of your trip is business, the inspiring person you start talking with might have more to offer than a straightforward professional relationship. Normally it’s better to keep romance and work separate, but this case could be an exception.
