The art fair UNTITLED., which launched in 2012 in a giant tent on Miami Beach and whose name is formatted in all-caps followed by a period, has brought on a new curatorial team and devised a new tent design for its third edition, slated to run December 3–7, concurrent with Art Basel in Miami Beach.

In addition to Omar López-Chahoud, who has been the fair’s curator and artistic director since its inception, this year’s edition will also be shaped by curators Christophe Boutin and Melanie Scarciglia, who co-founded the Parisian artist book publishers onestar press and Three Star Books. As part of the new partnership, onestar press will also produce a set of artist’s books in collaboration with UNTITLED. exhibitors. In 2013, the fair featured an off-site project curated by Saul Ostrow and Lidija Slavkovic.

“UNTITLED. has placed tremendous emphasis on curatorial integrity, content, and architecture,” UNTITLED. founder and owner Jeffrey Lawson tells artnet News. “Omar Lopez-Chahoud has curated two shows (2012 and 2013) each growing on the last and working closely with each gallery and artist to ensure a tight curatorial language. We are very excited to welcome Melanie Scarciglia and Christophe Boutin to the team this year to work with Omar to further the international curatorial scope and vision of this years fair. We are also extremely pleased to be working with K/R architects and John Keenen for a third year with a complete redesign of the pavilion.”

This renewed emphasis on special programing and curatorial projects will be reflected in a new design for the trademark UNTITLED. tent, which New York’s K/R Architects firm has re-imagined for the fair’s third edition. The new tent will feature a pink wedge near one end dividing the main exhibition space from an area reserved for talks and special events.
