A newcomer to the art world, Hong Kong, has quickly become one of the top destinations for art. As the city winds down after Hong Kong Art Gallery Week, there are still plenty of shows that you don’t want to miss.

2014 is Jeff Koons’s year—with exhibitions and site-specific works all over the world, from New York to Paris, he can now add Hong Kong to his roster. His first major solo exhibition in Asia is coming to an end in less than 10 days, so make sure you stop by Gagosian Gallery to see his “Hulk Elvis” series. French-owned de Sarthe Gallery’s newest space in Hong Kong, is once again exhibiting works by French minimalist artist Bernar Venet. This exhibition includes not only his sculpture but his drawings as well.

Or, stop by the Lehmann Maupin gallery to see “Planet Caravan,” the first Hong Kong exhibition by Thai artist Udomsak Krisanamis. By popular demand, this exhibition, which was scheduled to close this week, has been extended into the new year.

The island known for its glitzy galleries, blue-chip art fairs, and international scene, has plenty to see before the holidays, so don’t miss any of these amazing shows!
