What do Reese Witherspoon, MC Hammer, Jimmy Fallon, and John Stamos all have in common?
Well, besides being famous, they also happen to be famous people with NFT PFPs (that’s NFT profile pictures, boomer).
The recent crypto downturn might have burst Melania Trump’s bubble, but these celebrities’ love of the digital avatars isn’t lagging—some of them are even de facto ambassadors for their favorite projects. (It’s also likely at least some celebs are being paid to promote them.)
A few projects are especially popular among A-listers. World of Women is a favorite among actresses Reese Witherspoon and Eva Longoria, as well as producer Shonda Rhimes. NHL goaltenders Louis Domingue and Keith Kinkaid are fans of the Lazy Lions, while Serena Williams and TakeOff (one third of Migos) show off their CryptoPunks.
Unsurprisingly, a lot of celebs are fans of the Yuga Labs-backed Bored Ape Yacht Club. Eminem, Travis Barker, Timbaland, Jimmy Fallon, and as of last night, Gwyneth Paltrow are among the stans who have BAYC avatars.
But enough blabber. We combed through Twitter to see who has made the commitment to crypto for all to see…
