An Interview with Angelo Musco

VIDEO: The artist discusses social media and the Internet.

New York-based visual artist Angelo Musco (Italian, b.1973) is best-known for his large-format photographs depicting hundreds of nude models arranged into dynamic and complex shapes. In this interview with artnet Auctions associate specialist Bree Hughes, Musco discusses the ways in which social media and the Internet draw people into his community, and how this collaborative sprit is necessary for his work. Musco’s body of work and his community continue to grow: he recently created a sculpture in collaboration with Fendi, and is the subject of a documentary by director Robert Jason, which will debut at Lincoln Center this fall.
