On a farm in eastern Pennsylvania, Larry Fink (American, b.1941) took the time to talk to Miles Barth, senior specialist in photography for artnet Auctions, to discuss his career in photography, now in its sixth decade. Continuing to produce prints for exhibitions and museum and gallery sales, as well as two new books that are currently in production, Fink is also well known as an educator and mentor, now in his 24th year of teaching at Bard College in Upstate New York. The two also discuss the past and present evolution of Fink’s photography, and how his photographic vision has remained true to his politics and concern for documenting the social condition.
