Artist Talk: Orly Genger

This week, ArtTable's Artists’ Talk Series focuses on the New York sculptor.

The monthly artnet Artist Breakfast series, in partnership with ArtTable, features New York sculptor Orly Genger. Over the past decade, Genger has become well-known for her large-scale, hand-crocheted installations, which have been featured in galleries and museums nationwide. Her latest work is on view in New York City’s Madison Square Park through September 8, and features thousands of yards of rope, painted and shaped to transform the flat landscape into a dynamic, three-dimensional visual experience.
