The Delfina Foundation has announced that artists including Mark Wallinger, Eva Rothschild, Tacita Dean, and others will take part in a fundraising exhibition for the organization in October 2015 to raise money for Delfina Foundation’s studio space and residency programs.
“Then for Now,” curated by Chantal Joffe and curator and critic Sacha Craddock, will coincide with this year’s Frieze Art Fair running from October 9 through November 14, and will take place at Delfina’s central London space.
“We are a family, in which one generation helps the next,” Said Aaron Cezar, founding director of Delfina Foundation. “’Then for Now’ will enable us to continue defining the future of contemporary art. Each year, we support nearly 50 British and international artists through our programs. In an environment where artists are finding it increasingly difficult, Delfina Foundation’s work remains vital.”
Delfina Studio Trust, founded by Delfina Entrecanales 30 years ago, has provided support for more than a dozen Turner Prize winners and became The Defina Foundation in 2007. It is now London’s largest provider of international residencies with opportunities for writers, artists, and curators.
Along with Dean, Rothschild, and Wallinger there will also be works on sale by Chatal Joffe, Jane & Louise Wilson, Margherita Manzelli, and Mark Titchner.
