What: For artnet’s 25th anniversary, the company and 100 friends headed to the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel for a festive night with DJ Premier as MC. The famed rap producer, DJ, and one half of the duo Gang Starr energized the crowd with tracks from pop stars Beyoncé to the Human League.
When: Â Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Where: The Gramercy Park Hotel rooftop.
Why: Because there is no better way to celebrate the big 2-5 than with a bash at a beautiful rooftop venue with a legendary rapper.
The Moment : Besides watching people you work with get down on the dance floor, a highlight of the night was when DJ Premier reached for hip hop. Someone in the crowd yelled, “Thank god, this is what I came for!”
