@Hypersalon Presents a New Salon-Style Approach to Art Basel Miami

TRANSFER and XPO Gallery are partnering with art news site, Hyperallergic, to present a week of salon-style exhibitions, daily artist talks, studio visits, and hosted conversations on today’s culture in contemporary art during Art Basel Miami. These private gatherings will culminate under a social media friendly name, @hypersalon.

Emerging artists will present new work, opening their studios to an invited audience. Each talk will be over brunch and last about 30 minutes. Featured artists include, Clement Valla, Daniel Temkin, and Roland Leonard to name a few. There will also be an exhibition space that will feature a rotating selection of contemporary art chosen by guest curators.

Each afternoon @hypersalon will hold a presentation and open discussion with invited institutions, curators, contemporary collectors, and other connected collaborators. After the hustle and bustle of the fairs, the salon will have either Hyperallergic, Electric Objects, or Cloaque.org, host a night of cocktails and entertainment.
