Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have teamed up with the photographer Jürgen Teller for what could be the most bizarre photo shoot of all time.

The shots, taken at Château d’Ambleville in France, are unusual at best. Although both parties are known for embracing nudity and controversy with vigor, these pictures are doing no one any justice.

The collaboration between Kimye and Teller, which has been published as a booklet by System Magazine, sees the three of them in various strange poses on heaps of rubble and piles of sand in the French countryside.

One image sees Teller standing on a pile of rocks in a red puffer jacket, and no trousers, pulling a cheap carry-on suitcase. It’s not clear whether photo in question was taken by Kim or Kanye.

The strangest images, however, are the ones of Kardashian herself, splayed on various banks of weeds, and on what looks like the remnants of a long-abandoned construction site.

Whether clinging to a pile of builder’s sand or posing next to rusty farm equipment, the hideous, flesh colored underwear and suede stiletto boots are not doing the popular beauty any favors.

Although he can be credited with styling the whole thing, it seems that West was uncharacteristically keen to take a back seat during the shoot, posing fully clothed in black, leaning on a tree, and looking pensive.

Maybe he was reconsidering his styling of Teller, who does not appear to be wearing anything but underwear on his bottom half.

Famous for their love of art, Kimye not only conceived their daughter amongst Renaissance artworks and allow her to paint on their highly priced accessories; West has also been known to liken himself to Leonardo da Vinci and Pablo Picasso.
