The Madness of Art: Art Hamptons – Season 4 Episode 13

Video: The Hamptons is about sun, surf, and...art fairs. But what sells?

Deep in the heart of Chelsea, one gallery captures the madness…

The Madness of Art is a web series that focuses on the bustling life of an art dealer living and working in Manhattan.

Accompanied by his trusted staff and based on 25 years of art world experiences, gallery owner Jim Kempner writes, directs, and stars in this satirical comedy, produced by artist Charlie Hewitt, that answers the question, “What’s so funny about the art world?”

The stories are often based on actual events, giving the viewer a glimpse of just how hectic life in the NYC art world can be. There’s also special guest appearances by numerous artists including Robert Indiana, Bernar Venet, Tony Fitzpatrick, and more.

This satirical show is now in its fourth consecutive season, with a fifth season coming out in September.

The topic of the second last episode of Season 4, Art Hamptons 2014, shows Jim navigating the Art Hamptons art fair.

Don’t miss this hysterical show the Huffington Post called, “the art world parody show you should be watching,” where nothing in the world of art is safe.
