Must-See Art Guide: Mexico City

In town for ZONAMACO? Here's an easy guide to the museum and gallery shows you won't want to miss.

Mexico City is the cool cousin of art cities—unique, edgy, independent, and full of surprises. This week Zona Maco, Mexico’s premiere contemporary art fair, draws tens of thousands of visitors and over 150 galleries back to the city for its 17th edition. And while it would be entirely possible to spend days exploring every booth tucked into the Centro Citibanamex, once fair exhaustion sets in, you can reboot with some of the city’s other cultural highlights.

If you’re up for it, here’s our guide to the best of museum and gallery shows on view now, plus one worthwhile satellite fair.
