The wedding of mega-dealer Alberto “Tico” Mugrabi and fashion blogger Colby Jordan, that took place this past weekend at the Hotel du-Cap-Eden-Roc in France is shaping up to be one of the most buzzed-about art world events this year so far.

The guest list of 600 (yes, we said 600) could rival that of Art Basel in Miami Beach, and the budget climbed to as much as $20 million, according to a report on Page Six.

(We even heard some off-the-record grumbling from a European dealer at EXPO Chicago that the Mugrabi-Jordan nuptials were responsible for some A-listers not turning up at the Windy City’s most high-profile annual art fair).

But back to the South of France. Guests at the event included “man on the street” Derek Blasberg, Princess Beatrice, Poppy Delevingne, Christie’s rising star Loic Gouzer, Larry Gagosian, Karlie Kloss, Heidi Klum, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Sienna Miller, Aby Rosen, Vito Schnabel, Owen Wilson, and Dasha Zhukova.

We hear kale-loving playboy collector Jean Pigozzi hosted a pool party on Friday afternoon at his swank Villa Dorane, prior to a rehearsal dinner, at which the Gipsy Kings performed.

Welcome bags for guests reportedly included playing cards that were designed by artist Tom Sachs, Pigozzi’s photography book Pool Party, and that one guest gave the happy couple an Urs Fischer sculpture as a wedding gift.

Nile Rodgers and his band Chic performed at the wedding until the wee hours of the morning, and Page Six reports that Jeffrey Deitch even “cut a rug” with Jane Scher, the mother of Libbie Mugrabi.
