Santa Fe and its environs have long been known as a hub for an older generation of artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Agnes Martin, and Bruce Nauman. But over the past decade, the area has also become a hotbed for a new wave of artistic production, with cutting-edge exhibitions at SITE: Santa Fe, the immersive, trippy world of artist collective Meow Wolf, and the ever-expanding gallery network in the Railway Arts District.

Now, adding to the city’s offerings is Santa Fe Art Week, a week of art events and exhibitions due to will coincide with Art Santa Fe, the 19-year-old fair known for drawing in big-time collectors in the region (and cowboy hats, too). If you’re heading into town for the week, here are 10 exhibitions worth checking out.
