São Paulo Biennial Appoints Advisory Board

The São Paulo biennial has announced the composition of its advisory board for the 31st edition. Psychoanalyst Suely Rolnik—best known in the art world for her collaboration with Félix Guattari—will sit on the board alongside Director of the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo State Ivo Mesquita and Moacir dos Anjos, a curator of contemporary art at the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation in Recife. The board has very close links to the biennial: Mesquita was curator of the 28th edition, and dos Anjos, of the 29th. Entitled How to Talk about Things That Don’t Exist, the biennial will take place from September 6 to December 7, 2014.
