Who’s Nominated for Paris’ Prix Fondation d’Entreprise Ricard 2014?

The Prix Foundation d’Entreprise Ricard 2014 has announced its 2014 nominees. This year Marie Angeletti, Camille Blatrix, Jean-Alain Corre, Audrey Cottin, Hendrik Hegray, and Mélanie Matranga are in the running. Since its founding 15 years ago, the prize has acted as a barometer for emerging contemporary art in France.

The nominated artists will show their work in an exhibition curated by the collective castillo/corrales, a cornerstone of the burgeoning Belleville art scene, in the north-east of the French capital.

A piece by the winning artist will then be purchased by the foundation. It is then gifted and exhibited at the Centre George Pompidou in Paris.

Previous winners include Lili Reynaud Dewar (2013), Katinka Bock (2012), Isabelle Cornaro (2010), and Raphaël Zarka (2008).
