This week, the first NFT collection of Salvador Dalí’s artworks was released, just in time for the opening of the exhibition “Spellbound: Scenography of a Dream” a showcase of works by both Dalí and Alfred Hitchock at the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore Alla Pietrasanta in Naples, Italy.

The NFT collection features digital art of eight of the Surrealist master’s sculptures, including his Dance of Time III, Lady Godiva, and Nobility of Time.

This coveted collection, which of course includes a few melted clock faces, was made possible by Artscapy, a digital platform for fine art collecting, which partnered with Dalí Universe to bring these fantastical visions to new eyes through this NFT collection. For the tech startup, the project is a milestone in its mission to bring art to the latest generation of collectors online. Dalí Universe manages one of the largest private collections of Dalí artworks, including the rights to over 25 sculptures and well over 100 images.

Collectors can purchase these dream-like NFTs directly from either Artscapy’s marketplace or the Dalí Universe platform that was built by the tech company. Funds will support the Dalí Universe and its mission. For first-time NFT collectors, the works are priced accessibly: Each of the eight NFT works is being sold for $30 in an edition of 9,999.
