In a midst of questionable Kickstarter projects, there is one blossoming from Texas-based creator Chloe, who states “I want to help women. I want to change the world.” How might she do this you ask? By building a six-foot sculpture of lady parts.

“I am ready to say ‘fuck you’ to the rich, white, men in Texas who are limiting my rights to my own body and I am ready to make something hilarious,” she goes on to say in her Kickstarter profile. She explains her project as follows:

Recently in Texas women’s reproductive rights have been taken away at an alarming rate, there are now a handful of cities that have clinics for providing abortions. Many women must travel hundreds of miles and stay overnight in these cities and that is why I want to help. Abortions already cost a good deal of money, adding hotel, food, and transportation on top of that can get crazy. I want to start a group that provides housing, meals, and transportation to women who are traveling for the procedure.

Chloe hopes to create a biologically accurate life-size sculpture, blog about it in real-time, eventually sell the artwork and donate the proceeds to help women across Texas.

Her project seeks to provide funds to women affected by HB2, an anti-abortion bill that has closed almost half of Texas’ clinics. The bill requires that doctors performing abortions must obtain privileges at a local hospital. Simple as it may sound, it has proven to be a hurdle for many abortion providers, shuttering over a dozen clinics since its implementation.

The project has reached well over its $600 goal, but you can still contribute to the noble endeavor before the fundraising window closes on December 3. However she chooses to use the extra donations, it’s safe to say they’ll probably be going towards Texan women in need.
