A collaboration between Anish Kapoor and the aerobatic team The RAF Red Arrows has just been announced by Artliner. The project will be presented at the Farnborough International Air Show in 2016.

Founded in 2011 by Tatiana Ojjeh, Artliner has previously staged a six-week exhibition in a wind tunnel at Farnborough Airport in July. It is the second time the organization is collaborating with a renowned artist after a show with Damien Hirst for the London Olympics in 2012.

Ojjeh said: “Through my work on the wind tunnel project, I have been thinking about artists who might work well within the aviation context and after many discussions, we knew Anish was the perfect choice.”

Kapoor was born in Mumbai in 1954 and lives and works in London, he is represented by the Lisson Gallery, London; Gladstone Gallery, New York; and Kamel Mennour, Paris.
