Cheerio, London! That’s a wrap on the 2023 edition of Frieze London and Frieze Masters, plus a whirlwind week jam-packed with art fairs, gallery openings, museum exhibitions, and events. Although the current economic conditions are in flux, especially given the unrest in the Middle East, throngs of fairgoers turned up at Regent’s Park, and, according to dealers—at least those who spoke to press—sales were swift. While there were a smattering of seven-figure sales, the majority fell into the sweet-spot of mid-five-to six-figures.
