This week, artnet News will unveil its video of Takashi Murakami that we filmed at Gagosian Gallery, in conjunction with his show “In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow,” which runs through January 17. In the meantime, here’s a short teaser with some of the sillier questions we asked Takashi.
Part of a series we created for Instagram, the short video joins two others we created on José Parlá and Daniel Canogar.
You may know some things about Takashi, like that one of the central characters in his fictive universe is Mr. DOB, but we bet you didn’t know how he sleeps. Watch this to find that out along with some other curiosities about the artist.
