Sammy (who splits his time between N.Y. and Philadelphia) kicked off his week attending a gala for a favorite Philly institution, The Fabric Workshop, with a pitstop for ice cream on the way home. Spotted: Jayson Musson sharing some art thoughts on a very humid evening (Jayson’s epic show “Jayson Musson: His History of Art” is up at the museum through November).

Made it to N.Y., just in time for back-to-school week for the art world and, perhaps more than any other month of the year, a week to see some A+ artworks. As we often do, we went for a twin gallery hop around the neighborhood, popping in to see some of our friends and favorites, P.P.O.W. (pictured here: Sammy with Betty Tompkins), Queer Thoughts (next slide), Jack Barrett, and JTT.

What is a week in Tribeca without at least one visit to The Odeon? We were headed to post￾work aperitifs with love of our lives, Louis Osmosis, when we bumped into none other than downtown diva, Daisy Sanchez, who stopped in her tracks and joined us. Sometimes we split up! On Thursday night, Daniel flew solo to artist Sarah Kim’s farewell party, ahead of her move to L.A. (Angelenos, look out!). Seen here with on-the-rise hotgirl swimwear designer, Patricia Torvalds (center).

Meanwhile, Sammy and Louis were spotted at Tribeca dive bar, Belle Reve, participating in Negroni Week ahead of Greene Naftali’s afterparty (see next slide).

Before our opening chaos ensued, we took ourselves out to a chic sushi lunch on Friday at Takahachi Tribeca. Note to self: Black Cod is best enjoyed after 5:00pm (twin rating: 4 stars).

We seem to forget San Gennaro every year until it comes back around! After a festive dinner at The Tyger, we meandered looking for our perfect dessert pick-me-up.
