New York City galleries have been flocking to set up shop in the Hamptons of late. But Mark Borghi Fine Art was first to the party—and recently announced the opening of a second East End outpost.

The gallery, whose flagship is on East 76th Street in Manhattan, has operated a Bridgehampton space since 2006. With metropolitan crowds setting up in the area for a longer-than-usual summer stretch, the gallery decided to expand its foothold further with a second space in Sag Harbor.

Inaugurating the new space is “The Silence Perpetuates,” a show of works by influential contemporary African American artists ranging from underrated Modernist Felrath Hines to 1980s icons Thornton Dial and Jean-Michel Basquiat to contemporary names like Derrick Adams and Chakaia Booker.
