The Franco-British charity Fluxus Art Projects, which supports emerging artists and curators from France and the UK, has announced the eleven recipients of its first round of funding for 2015.

Key projects that will be supported include the exhibition “TKTKTK” at London’s Cell Project Space, slated to open in March 2015. The group show, conceived by Laura McLean-Ferris, will feature works by the Parisian artist Mélanie Matranga (winner of the inaugural 2014 Frieze Artist Award), Essex Olivares, Dena Yago, and Barbara T. Smith. The exhibition will explore the physical and psychological effects of the office environment and the collapse of the separation between work and life.

Another recipient is London-based artist Anna Barham. She has been invited to build Tangram Posture (2010-15), a site-specific playground installation based on the seven pieces of the Chinese game, at the Nouveau festival, which will take place in June at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Fluxus Art Projects will also support the exhibition “Moving out onto Space,” the first institutional show by French-born London-based artist Nicolas Deshayes, which will take place at Tate St. Ives. Deshayes will also curate an exhibition of classical sculptures from the museum’s permanent collection, which he will present in a contemporary display.

Other funding recipients for 2015 include the artists Olivier Castel, Jean-Pascal Flavien, Isabelle Cornaro, Laura Gannon, Celia Hempton, and Alex Cecchetti, as well as the curators Vincent Romagny and Anna Gritz.
