31-Year-Old Artist Ran Huang Selected for Cannes’ Palmes d’Or

The Beijing-based filmmaker and artist has been selected for his latest piece, The Administration of Glory (2014). It will compete for the Short Film Palme d’Or at the 67th Festival de Cannes, which opens on May 14th on the French Riviera. Ran Huang is the only representative from China participating this year, and the first to be shortlisted for a Palme d’Or since 1965.
