Edward Snowden Makes Cameo in Austrian Collective’s Video

Former NSA contractor and now-infamous leaker of classified, data-collection protocols, Edward Snowden, has a soft spot for contemporary art. Snowden appears in the latest video work by Austrian art collective, Teamniel. Titled I Told You, the work is currently on view in Washington D.C. as part of a recently opened exhibition at the capital’s Austrian Cultural Forum at the Austrian embassy. Aside from Snowden, the video features footage from Bambi and Matrix-esque green on black computer code. Watch the full video on YouTube.
