Unless you’ve been steering clear of social media (or living under a rock), you’ve likely seen a dizzying number of tributes to fashion, art, and rock icon David Bowie since the announcement of his death on January 10.
It can, of course, be tough to wade through all the bandwagoning behavior online to find the messages and pictures are truly unique and touching. But fear not—we combed through the Instagram accounts of our favorite artists, gallerists, museums, curators, and organizations to find the very best of Bowie.
