Calling all Santa Feians: in just a few weeks, your city is about to get even more artsy than usual with the opening of Art Santa Fe. Now in its 16th year, this fair showcases the vibrant local art scene while also playing host to a number of galleries from around the world. But, as any residents know, there’s more for art lovers to see in this city than just these annual events. Take a stroll (or, more likely, an air-conditioned car ride) to visit all the different exhibitions on view throughout the city. There’s the always wonderful Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, which currently has a unique installation of 51 watercolors of the Texas landscape by the artist on display, and then there’s a raft of must-see show at venues like Charlotte Jackson Fine Art, David Richard Gallery, LewAllen Galleries, and many more. Between the stunning desert views and all the art on display, you’re certain to end your tour inspired and ready for a margarita.
